I had a heartbreaking experience meeting a woman who despite vigilant self-examinations and regular mammograms, somehow a tumor still escaped detection and when the biopsy was performed it had already metastatized. She was in chemo and told me that she would rather have died from the aneurysm they removed from her brain years earlier. It's haunted me ever since.

this might sound odd and i don't mean this in a sexual way AT ALL, but i think she should allow us to see her "new boobs".
and the reason i say that is because i think most women are terrified about what they will look like AFTER, and that's the most scary part of having that procedure done.
i heard one report that her operation was the "skin saving" kind where they scooped out the tissue. that way, when the implants are in place it's less noticeable. perhaps there are not as many incisions or something.
anyway, from a plastic surgery perspective, i'd be interested in seeing the before and after....like in a medical journal where all you see are the breasts. you don't know who they belong to.
