If you are actually contributing advice or insights, or better yet, sharing something of your own, then it's not being pervy.

If you're reading the stuff just for a sexual/voyeuristic thrill, that is kinda pervy. But, we all put this stuff up in a public forum, so I'm not particularly offended if anyone uses the site for this sort of thing.

Where it crosses the line is when someone starts making unwelcome advances or creepy comments to members. That's pervy.

If you were trying to pick women up then you would be a perv. But as long as what you say flows with the conversation, then there isn't very much wrong with it.
I'm not very young either but it hasn't prevented me from forging relationships with some really nice women 10, 20 yrs. younger than me. & by relationships I mean, simply "friends", of course.
