This community is dedicated to an open discussion about healthy sex and sharing thoughts and feelings about sexuality and improving one's sex life. Most active adults desire to have an active and fulfilling sex life, both for themselves and also their partner. Here we discuss common sexual challenges faced by both men and women.
Yes I did.
ignored some pretty bad things.
Nothing fuels hot sex like some really intense anger.
I see nothing wrong with some QUIET, steamy sex...without the nagging and fistfights. If two people enjoy each other on that level, then depart to separate residences so as not to "spoil" it, why not...
We tried the just sex thing when we first decided to split but it didn't work for either one of us. Physically it was great while we were in the moment but afterwards we both found it to be too depressing. There was too much history between us to go from a husband/wife/lover relationship to just having sex with each other to satisfy our physical needs.
The kind of hot sex I enjoy, I would not have with someone who has intense anger towards me, is holding resentments towards me or a person who has an overall angry demeanor. That would not be hot sex to me, that would be very scary sex.
We just ultimately had a really amazing time, but it isn't something that I would go back to.
problem is that the good and bad were just 2 different sides of passion.
i do miss it - even today
I kind of did. I didn't know it at the time but he was bi-polar also. I'd never dated anyone that was normal one minute and crazy the next. I couldn't get rid of him. I'm still laughing at itson's post...not that there's anything funny about being bi-polar but your statement about never being a dull day is so true :)
