maybe I have asked this b4, just read on another site, that the term MILF is degrading in any context. I realize labeling is a no-no, but seriously, not a lot of people are going to stroll down the street pointing out and exclaiming "MILF ALERT" are they?

So what do you fine ladies of the board think? Would it offend you if someone referred to you as a MILF? A GILF? A LILF?

I read a book about MILFs for comedic purposes because I got halfway through and stopped. They actually had a diagram of what a MILF looks like! Chic purse, ponytail, tight jeans and high-heeled boots (joking - from another post of mine). They aren't supposed to be degrading in any way though. I can go on about it because some of it did kind of bother me but for now I will just say it is not meant to be degrading but something I think for women to feel better about after becoming a mom. They probably just want to feel like they still have it. I know I do - still wish I have it, that is! And after "American Pie" they took the term and ran with it, going way overboard IMO.

The younger age people will point out a MILF ALERT at the mall, park, wherever, I've seen it and heard it happen mostly with mid to late teens. My sons grew out of saying "she's a MILF" when they hit their early 20s. It takes a lot to really offend me, I wouldn't be flattered by it but I wouldn't be offended by it either, I would just chalk it up to the person saying it as being immature.

What about FILF, would that be offensive to you guys?

Would it offend me? No.

But just because I wouldn't be offended, and might be smiling a little inside, doesn't mean I'd be particularly impressed with the impolite boor calling me that.

Words of warning to someone who might think MILF about a friend's mom, never be stupid enough to inform friend that you think his mom is a MILF. It doesn't turn out good at all for said MILF hunter.

uh, no. as a mom, i would most definitely feel proud if someone called me a milf! what, are moms supposed to not be sexual anymore? hello! sex is what MADE us moms! lol.
