I do hope that he is being man enough to support his child even if he's running away from you and commitment.
If he changed his phone number, his father won't give you the number, you haven't heard from him in 7 weeks chances are it is over in his head.
This may sound cold, but it might be time for you to move on, but make sure he is providing for the child that he helped to create.
Good luck to you. (((Charity)))
Running away from his fiancee and his child without saying a word, what a cowardly thing to do.
It sounds like the apple doesn't fall far from the tree with his father refusing to give you the new phone number knowing his son has the responsibility of a child to support.
Get yourself a lawyer to make sure he at least takes responsibility for his child financially.
I also agree with Dren, if you pursue a relationship with him, you're going to set yourself and your child up for more heartbreak. Get child support from him and move on with your life. There are good, decent *real* men out there that aren't cowards.
I wish you luck with you baby.
Sorry to say this but it sounds to me like he has moved on.
You gave his father a grandchild, and he won't even give you his son's phone number? That is messed up!
I just hope he is man enough to support his child!
His name isn't on the birth certificate (a dissision we made together) because we weren't married at the time so I don't know how that will affect anything.
He isn't and hasn't paid any kind of child support (even though I said he has been on forms for assistence) so Idk if that will do anything either. I have talked to a lawyer and I am going to set up a meeting with her soon so we can discuss my options.
He is out on parole right now and I don't want to do anything that will send him back. I don't want him to hate me and I deffinately don't want to be a bitch.
I guess I just wish I had some piece of mind so I don't have to cry myself to sleep at night.
You will get through this, and we are here to help any way we can.
Don't worry about him or what might happen to him, he chose his path. Your first priority is to your child, making sure your child is taken care of is not being a bitch, he owes his child at least that much. It'd be great if your child had a dad in his/her life but I wouldn't count on that happening with this guy.
I would dare say its over, but he should have been a man and told you. Its hard but you know it is way better to know now then after your married.
But I agree with Dren, get child support and be strong and someone that deserves you will come along. Someone thats a real man. *hugs*
