Why is it so easy?

My ex boyfriend played dirty and hurt me really bad. All i did was care about this guy. The issue is he was able to find a reltaionship pretty easy. I found out this week that things are rocky for him in his reltaionship. Why is it that scum bags are able to find relationships so easily and the good ones have a hard time?

Cuz the scum bags are willing to lie in order to get whatever they want. They have no problem promising things they can't deliver on because they simply don't care. There are always stupid people out there who will easily believe the lies of others simply because they want that fantasy relationship. Its easy to fall into that trap when you want something so bad instead of analyzing it for what it is and realizing its all just fakery.

What he winds up with is temporary, superficial crap, and what you will end up with is something wonderful, beautiful and true.

If you believed his lies in the beginning, it doesn't necessarily mean you were "stupid". Liars are very convincing because they have so much practice doing it! It can take time for a lover's lies to be exposed for what they are. The "stupid" part is if you catch a liar and then believe him the next time. Dumping is the way to go!

You said it yourself. Yeah, scum bags can get into another relationship easy, but that does not mean it will be a HEALTHY, HAPPY relationship. He's probably pulling the same bullshit with her that he pulled with you, and his current relationship will too go down in flames when she realizes, like you did, that he's fulla shit.
