Healthy Relationships Support Group
No relationship is perfect. A long-term relationship requires constant effort to understand each other, fix misunderstandings, solve problems and continue to grow as both individuals change and evolve. How we deal with our misunderstandings is the focus of this community. Join us to find support, get advice, and share your experience with your relationship.
I would be very wary of any comment that starts with "men are" or "women are" (unless it is very clinical) because it is likely a HUGE simplification of a complex idea.

If it is meant to be, he will be in your life again. Date, build your life around you, not him.
I guess unless you were there for the conversation between the three of us it is hard to quite type out the discussion and make sense without typing forever and it was already long. That is is not gender based but person to person based.
