Situation: Was with my BF for 1 years and was pregnant. We had been going thru a difficult time cuz he wanted to be going out every w/e to drink and I was not happy with that. We got into an argument and that lead us to be upset with each other. He then decided he did not know if he wanted to be with me because of how he explained how I was. In short my priorities were family and his were to go out. (He has been single most of his life and has no kids he is 34 and I am 34 with 3 kids) Anyhow, this news caused a lot of hurt, stress, and pain which in turn caused me to have a miscarriage. (I felt ababoned, and worried about raising the child on my own) He did not come around to support me during the loss and instead told me, I should have taken better care of myself. After the miscarriage he kept telling me he was not sure if he wanted to be with me until I got tired of hearing about that and I broke it off. We were broken up for 2 weeksI started going out enjoying my life once again and honestly I was living more stress free. I did miss him, but I felt at peace. We started talking again and decided to try to work things out 2 weeks ago. He confessed that when we broke up he was talking to another woman but, it was not serious. The woman had played him by pretending to want to be with him and then stopped taking interest. He said he really had no interest in her and it wasnt serious. I had asked him plenty of times before if he was talking with someone else and he said no. So I asked y he lied.. he said talking once a week is not talking with someone else to him. My thing is I dont believe he was w/this woman after we broke up my gut says it. I also feel he tried to replace me right away so what does that mean? I cannot trust this man and do not know what to do. I love him not as before but, my life is now leading in another direction. I do not want to have any more children at least not w/him. I am not sure what to do as I am very confused and still full of anger and hurt from what happened. I guess I am not sure if this relationship is salvageable. Any advice would help
I know it's hard when you break up with someone but focus on what YOU want first.
I think you already know the answer. Let him go as he is not worthy of your time and investment, unless he apologizes and proves otherwise (i.e. realizes his wrongs and putting you and your relationship first, by validating your feelings and keep from making excuses of how things in his mind mean different than what you think).
Trust is the core of any relationship.
It seems clear that you need to move on.
Droping a pregnant woman like garbage in a bin, then blaming HER for the miscarriage says all I need to hear about this guy. This is a man you cannot count on when you really need him.
You can do better.
