i am in a longterm relationship right now. i have a 6 month old son which i love dearly but i have not gottenalong with my girlfriend. everytime i am on the edge of breaking up with her she says "you are abandoning us". i will always support my son fanancially and morally but i am not in love with anymore. i told her we are not doing well and she replied she thought we are doing much better? we dont see eye to eye on a lot of things. btw we dont live together. i go up to her place i weekends, contribute to my son's daycare and other things. i along with her family helped her move into her new house but i refuse to move in with her fearing our relationship is on the rocks. its been months since we slept together. she would initiate but i am not into it. how can i end this without her putting a guilt trip on me? again i will support my son but not a close relationship with her. advice needed.
As far as " abandoning" her - the rules of the relationship are already set as such that you are not really a full time family, so it will not make any difference, except that she will probably get pissed off and become spiteful.
