A few weeks ago I started talking and hanging out with a woman I've known for a few years. We really only knew each other through our boys who are friends and were teammates for various sports.
The first couple of weeks we only saw each other on Monday at a local restraint where she signs karaoke. She has a beautiful voice by the way! Anyway during this time those first couple weeks we have been texting daily.
About a two weeks ago on a Friday she asked me to come over to her house. Her back had been hurting and she had asked if I would massage her back which of course I agreed. We also spent the time talking and laughing. After an hour or so of massaging, talking and laughing she leaned in and kissed me. We kissed for a while and things started to heat up so to speak which she said I needed to feel how hot it was. Luckily her son came home from school so things ended there. The next night I met her after a banquet she had and she asked me to stay which I agreed. Out of the next 8 days I stayed at her place 5 days and she stayed at mine once. Every day texting during the day with all the sweet little things back and forth from both of us.
However the last few days a lot of that seemed to stop on her part. I would send something sweet and her response would not even acknowledge it. I stopped by her house the other night before she went to work. She had been working in the yard all day so she wanted to shower and rest a bit before she left. While she was doing that I went ahead and did her dishes and cleaned up the kitchen. When she saw that she said thank you but seemed to be upset about it. Yesterday I stopped before my Scout meeting and tried helping her in the yard and she told me to stop because I already help too many people and I didn't have too.
I feel like shes already trying to push me away. Why do I feel like a damn teenager or a lost puppy? Especially this soon.

She lured you into having sex with her with the back pain/massage scenario, and now she seems to be backing away because she doesn't want anything more than what she asks for. She's in control here, and perhaps that's why you're feeling the way you are. You want to get closer to her, and she wants to keep you at arm's length.
Like I said that kinda freaked me out but again I didn't say anything about it. Now that it seems shes withdrawing my head is swarming.
until they grad HS , you really can't be in a relationship,
afterwards...move slow real slow
Maybe it is time to have a frank discussion about what happened and definitely do not let the kids know that you are doing anything, avoid it all tougher .
