After my father died earlier this year, I started talking to an old friend of mine of the opposite sex. No romantic feelings whatsoever. My father was an addict as was his, so it was easy to talk about how I was feeling. My husband was upset I was talking to my friend. He started going through phone records and my texts. Mysterious phone calls came in from an annonymous caller to my husband warning him to be careful who I'm talking to. He kept accusing me of things and of cheating. He not only ruined my birthday by doing nothing for it, but also ruined Mother's Day with these accusations. I stopped talking to the friend and now am scared to talk to anyone. This was after my dad died mind you so my emotional state was already fragile. Fast forward to now. My husband constantly goes out with frienfs and buys expensive things without talking to me first. Just yesterday he told me his ex added him on instagram (an account I didn't know he had). I broke up with him twice early in our relationship over her. She called constantly and my husband met up with her and even stayed the night at her place. He claims nothing happened which I believe and no that isn't me being naive. She had a friend call my husband saying they knew who I was and where I lived and what vehicle I drove. The list goes on with her. But needless to say I put my foot down and said it was her or me. But he can't seem to let her go. He constantly makes me feel like shit and I've given up so much for him. I moved away from my family and have proven I'm loyal. just don't know what to do anymore. Is this salvageable or has it become a controlling relationship I need to walk away from?

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

I would suggest some marriage counselling....If he isn't willing to work on your marriage and grow up I think I would be done..... I really think some healthy boundaries are needed for sure.... Why would he even want to hang out with someone who threatened his wife? ..... Big hug......xo
did you share emotional vulnerability with your friend that had an addict father like yours?
if so, did you hide it from your boyfriend?
what your boyfriend is doing is shitty
i hope he didn't learn it from you
if he did, well you should consider working on yourself and the relationship
if the answers to my questions are no, no, & no, ... leave your shitty boyfriend
