Never just settle because really it's not worth it. In the past I did that more than once..........you deserve to truly be happy!
If you are happy with yourself then when the "right one" possibly comes along, it will be worth it in the end.
Personally I think that is why so many people get involved with the wrong people because they are so afraid of being alone. Everyone deserves to be happy the question really to ask yourself is what truly makes you happy and never settle for anything less then that.:)
Love yourself, exactly as you are and you are forever changed. Love everything you can from wherever you find yourself. Think of someone or something you love a lot and love yourself that much. When you forget how to love yourself, love yourself for forgetting. Jump from logic into the safety net of love. Open your love big enough to fit all your feelings, say, I love myself for that too. Love others exactly as they are and they are free to change.

And while you are learning to love yourself, Date! Date lots of wrong persons! LOL The more you date, the more you will know what you really want, and what you need to be to get that! (But don't tell them how wrong they are, ok?)
My advice, don't sell yourself short. Being alone can be difficult and trying sometimes, but everyone is right here about this.
Instead, while alone do things that can improve yourself just for the sake of getting better at what you like to do the most. It will benefit you greatly and take your mind off of being by yourself. It works really well and you'll get some pretty good results from it too, you'd be surprised.
