If on the other hand you do not feel he will change or if the risk is just too great hoping he will change to make a better life for not just himself but for you and your child then you may want to consider moving on or at least try a trial separation and get yourself in a position where you know you can provide all that you and your little one need on your own.
There are just no guarantees on how things will go and you know your husband better then anyone else does. I just know that you should not make your decision out of anger, sort your thoughts out carefully and consider all steps you can make to make things better for your future as then you will not end up making hasty decisions that you might regret later on.
