Please don't go if you are going to go with your current attitude?
But again, I don't know how close you are to this girl (or how important to this event is to her). If she were a best friend, that has been talking about this for months, *maybe* I'd suck it up and go. But probably not (as I tend to be a stick in the mud about these kinds of things, girls parading around, getting groped and grabbed by drunks).
I say to trust your instincts and if you don't want to go then do not go.
Don't do something that makes you uncomfortable.
She doesn't think things out like she should.
I guess I didn't know her like I thought.
There have been some other issues that I won't talk about.
I have made a quite a few female friends as of late.
Im just going to hang out with someone else.
If you have this much concerns over all this and her, have you talk to her about this? That is where this she really start. Conversation between you two first. As much as you may not agree with her doing this and with all your concerns, this is not something you have the right to stop her from doing or to pass upon negative judgment on her for. This is her rights to her life. The best you can do is to talk to her. That is a plus for both of you to do.
Do you like her beyond friends? It seems like you might.
I feel like a big brother to her.
She has told me of abuse that she's had in the past.
You'd think that she would have learned not to put herself in dangerous situations.
Actually she's told me many things. I feel sorry for her and I do things for her. I do spend a bit of money taking care of her like she's family.
The more I think about it, the more I think that she's lying.
After the contest last night she called me. She told me that she was drunk and needed a ride home. I was worried so I picked her up. The thing is she wasn't even drunk. I am kinda poor. I can't afford to to be at her beckening call. I didn't say anything to her. She asked if I was angry, I just shook my head no. I didn't look at her. I dropped her off. Another friend was with me so I had him drive my car while I drove hers.
I think she's lies off her ass to get pity.
I don't think she has been abused.
I think that she enjoys making me spend money that I don't have.
This relationship was never a relationship where I thought that I might score with her. I value friends and at first I thought she would make a good 1. I honestly think that she is a compulsive liar.
Yeah feed me a poor me story and I get all nurturing.
I feel like an idiot.
She's just a write off.
Moving forward, not back.
What pissed me off about this girl is the lies she's told me, the pity I felt for her, and the time and money I spent trying to help her.
Maybe she is not a friend afterall? Maybe you were the friend to her and she was not a friend to you. You know what I mean? A true friend would not lie and a true friend would not act this way to a friend.
Maybe you should take a step back and just not contact her anymore.
It is up to you but personally I could not be friends with someone that would lie to me.
Hope you will be okay.
