Bad question?

Well I am not a man but I have to imagine it is ruined thinking. I mean, I have a girlfriend and one of the things that majorly attracted me to her was her hilarious sense of humor. To me it means somebody that can make me laugh. I am sure a nice guy looking for a girl with a sense of humor is looking for a girl who can make him laugh and who doesn't take everything about herself and her life too seriously. That's my two cents.

Yes, a sense of humor is just that. Doesn't mean laugh at everything and at the expense of you. I want a man with a sense of humor who gets my silly jokes and they make me laugh. Someone who isn't a stick in the mud and never laughs at everything to me would make for a boring relationship. Basically they are saying they want someone who can be light hearted and not so serious all the time. No need to immediately think of it as negative.

I think a sense of humour means just what it says: someone who can make them laugh, doesn't take everything too seriously and is willing to have light hearted conversation rather than everything being super serious.

Whether your sense of humour is right for him is another thing, that's only something you can find out by talking! :)

Thanks, I love to laugh and even laugh at myself sometimes, so this is good. I guess I am just really scared of making a wrong choice, but I just have to learn to take up for myself and say no. I will get there simehow, thanks! J

I'm a guy and when people ask what I like I often mention "sense of humor." For me that mainly means being able to laugh together. I have a playful personality and find a lot of things funny or find humor in many situations so it's important for me to have a woman who isn't too serious all the time. Also, that means she can take a little "teasing" (within reason of course) and make me laugh too :)

A sense of humor is a must. I love to laugh. And act stupid.
Last summer my fianc, his friend, and I went to Walmart late at night and had a ball fight in the toy aisles. Kinda ridiculous because we're 42, 44, and 46. But it was fun, dammit! lol

I think what they're saying is they want to be able to say anything to you without you being too touchy or getting offended at every little thing they say.

Yes, it's no fun if YOU are the brunt of their joke. I agree, that's not a laughing matter.

I think it means that they want a woman who is light hearted and thinks things are funny and can joke and not be serious all the time.
