It's blunt and horrible, but I'm just going to say it. Since I've had my baby (now one) I love my partner less, sometimes not at all. Sometimes I have moments where I really love him again, but they are very rare. Most of the time his existence irritates the crap out of me. I find myself looking around for other places to live and daydreaming of leaving him. He's a typical man. Works hard at work, but is extremely lazy at home. I do all of the household work. Plus I work on the weekend too. I have all the patience in the work for my little boy. But if my partner does one thing wrong, I flip. My temper has gotten alot worse since having my baby. I'm not violent, I just get angry quicker than usual. Which usually leads me to tell my partner off for all the last things he does. Like, leaving washing by the basket or on the floor of the bedroom, leaving the milk out. Leaving his beet cans on the side or spilling it on the floor. The list is endless. But it's gotten worse, when i think about before we had our baby, all i can remember is how annoying he was. He's always been the same, it never used to annoy me before. But it seems my feeling of irritation is now clouding all of the good memories we Have, I can find the bad in all of them.
I don't know if this is something that will pass. What can I do to change the way I feel?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

There are a few things you can do :
- go away for a week with or without the baby and just be alone with yourself and rest.
- counseling to figure out what triggers these feelings. If your h is not really doing anything wrong, then what is it? I think, looking back, that our Hs don't chage, WE do and then expect something different from them.
- realize that your husband is also trying to figure out how to be a father and if you give him a hard time, he will be a shitty father to your child. We don't want shitty fathers, we want strong, healthy fathers. I was always pissed off at my ex and as a result he was not active as a dad until we divorced , and I left him alone to do what he wanted with the kids. He became a very good dad without my miserable self hovering over him.
- if you are depressed, there is nothing wrong with getting meds for situational depression. Sometimes 6 months of therapy can help and then you are good to go.
Good luck and I hope you can save your marriage.
Hugs
Otherwise he's gonna be on your shit list too
Do you own any of this or is all the mans
I know he's a typical man. If you read it, you'll see my issue is not him, it's that things that never used to annoy me, now do. I asked if it will pass.
You're obviously not a mother. A lot of mothers I've spoken to say it's normal for the first year. But wears off after that.
You act with love. Love is an action, not a feeling. When you feel irritated by your partner, act with love instead of anger or frustration.
If you suspect it's post partum depression, talk to your doctor.
Here are some signs and symptoms......xo

From early morning to 30 minutes after son goes to bed. Very hard to feel love for someone, when you feel like their mother. Talk to him. Express your feelings. See how it goes. Hugs.
Good luck! Post pardum depression is no joke!
I just said a prayer for you that you will get better soon by seeking the appropriate intervention.
