Otherwise you will just be left with assuming what it might mean no matter how many suggestions or responses you receive from myself or anyone else. Anyway I really think the best way to find out what your bf wants and means you need to just ask him.::):)
I would think that what you do NOW is NONE OF HIS BUSINESS.
I also wonder -- if he is your X -- WHY ARE YOU EVEN DISCUSSING THIS STUFF WITH HIM?
What does it matter if you are dating, thinking of dating, not dating??? You are under no obligation to answer any questions regarding your personal life. I find that extremely out of line.
If an X were asking questions like that of me, they would be getting my voice mail next time they called.
Both you and this ex-boyfriend are extremely young. You have lots to learn about yourselves and relationships. But I will tell you one thing that I KNOW to be TRUE: If you think he's interested in getting back together with you romantically, YOU WILL NEED TO ASK HIM. Unfortunately, most men still don't know how to speak from their hearts -- it takes a lot of hard work and practice! And as for you dear heart NEVER ASSUME! It's way too easy to get swept up into what we "want to hear" and what is really being said.
Ask yourself, too, why did you two break up in the first place? Revisit that for awhile before sticking your neck out there for what could be more hurt and heartbreak.
thanks for the acknowledgement! it's always good to know when my words aren't falling on deaf ears.
And just one more word of wisdom: You can't read anyone's mind. You should never be expected to -- and no one can read yours, either. Communication is the Key!
