Technically, I would call neglect from a partner "abuse". Abuse is a pretty nasty thing when it's really happening. I think there is a danger the word is being a bit overused these days.
Leave them?
It is important to not neglect yourself .... but equally important to not neglect your partner if you want to have a healthy relationship.
Either way..neglect of our Primary Lover in Life is - Death. Death to the foundation of what built two people into a union.. Death to their friendship and their deep, very unique connection that created the 'partner' union in the first place.
