A great actor, and the thing about actors is you never really know whether they're serious or if this seething hatred is just a ploy to manipulate this Oksana woman he's with.

I hope the guy pulls his head out of his arse and gets back on top of his anger and career. Far be it from me to understand the inner working of a romantic/sexual relationship (maybe this yelling and violence is what works for them), but it's pretty sad and embarrassing to watch the mighty crumble.

i think he's drunk and dont give a shit, i feel sorry for him in a way (even though he did it to himself) he left his wife over 20 years for this other woman and now he has neither. hes mad at the world and probably has no hope left

If he didn't spout out the "N" word, probably coulda hung out with his old buddy, Danny Glover, of Lethal Weapon fame. Or director Dick Donner. The guy could use some buddies for laughs! Friends are nice, soft cush when romantic relationships go sour.

Heart goes out to the guy, but he's gotta find a way to manage and properly direct anger.

Its defininitely more proof that access to wealth and resources doesn't make you a good person, a worthy person, or a healthy person.

Its unfortunate that he spewed that much hate at his girlfriend and a whole group of people. Would he have said those things if he ever thought it would get out? Nope, he would have kept his hate and racism inside him.

I am sure that most of us have said terrible things in situations that we thought were private. I know the things I have screamed about my cheating ex-wife in the privacy of my own home could have lost me friends, gotten me thrown in jail, or slapped with a restraining order if anyone else had heard them.

Anyway, now that we have more proof of what lurks inside Mr. Gibson, we will look askance at everything he does and says in the public realm.

OK, I'll just say this and then let others chime in if they wish (don't really give a shit about the situation):

A man can't hook up with one of the sexiest women on the planet, and then try to make her into an ultra-conservative housewife, telling her to "dress down", "remove the fake breasts" etc.

Oh I don't think he wanted her breasts removed...just hidden from others....lol

he's paying the price for his mistakes, that's for sure. i guess we all do.

He's done this too often. He has issues. I have read everything from him being an alcoholic, bipolar, whatever. Used to love his acting, now can't stomach him with all this crap he pulls. I guess alot of people can say hurtful things in anger, when under the influence, etc. but he really seems to have some very serious issues that need to be addressed. I feel for their child, which they probably shouldn't have had given his track record of bigotry, anger, etc.

YOu also have to take into account that when we do shit of this caliber that it isnt broadcast to the world. when we do this shit it generally stays in a small circle of people and most never hear a word of it. we hear it in the media and when strangers bring up racist shit like this and broadcast it to the public the public autmatically thinks its bigger than it is simply becauser the news is reporting it. you do not know if that woman completely and totally talked shit to him first. its like the chris brown thing... chris brown beat her up but no one knows she has tried to stab his eye out with her high heels before...

Yeah, for all we know, this seething anger is what makes their relationship sizzle. Foreplay for really hot sex. She's probably equally nuts, and was probably just keeping her own temper on the down-low because she was recording the conversation, and needed the tape for "evidence" in some suit.

If one listens to the words of the conversation, on Mel's part, remove the "F" words and "N" words, and the part about giving her a "ball-bat to the head"...they're not entirely unreasonable. He doesn't want her dressing sexy in public! But ya knew what you were getting into there, Mel. He delivers the lines with such seething viciousness and hatred, the Devil Incarnate...this is what made his filetting Brits in Braveheart so memorable, so, for all we know, this is simply another "performance", to hurt her emotionally, to get a reaction, to make her want him. Pretty fucked up.

Man, where's Danny Glover and Richard Donner, to come over and slap some sense into the guy! Danny Glover's obviously black and I'm sure Dick Donner's Jewish. Maybe they "abandoned" him, along with everyone else, 'cuz he's down and out, and he feels betrayed. Dunno (sigh)...exhausting...OK...onto my OWN life...
