I think I'm really in love with my artistic passions: Making videos, mixing sound and music, and photography. A woman, unless she's on board for the same passions, will always take a back seat.

I know what your saying Koolman. When I go on a picture hunt, I like being alone. I can wait as long as i want for the perfect shot, I can hike down the mountain side, my camera is my companion. When someone wants to come along, they better have a camera too, or they are going to be bored shitless while I'm doing my thing.

I agree that love is not enough, but my experience with trying to convey this to other people is that it pisses them off. I took a psychology class once and I remember the professor asking the class what was the most complicated and misunderstood word in the English language. People were shouting out all kinds of things. I raised my hand and said "Love". I was correct.

Even though I know this I still find it difficult to separate from logic. There are guys I've dated who I am very attracted to, but I know our different lifestyles would make me miserable. It is not an easy thing to keep love/lust out of the equation.
