Yet you started dating him anyway? Why O why would you want to deal with that in a relationship, no less? And he still sounds like an asshole to me.
It sounds like you are dating a child, not an adult. He's into silly mind games and he does sound emotionally immature. Maybe I'm a tad jaded, but I don't have time for games these days and I'm not going to waste my time anymore with someone who is hot and cold with me either. You're either all in or get out. Not only that, but there are too many good guys out there to put up with the assholes.
After some investigation it turns out he has been absued by an alcoholic father and he and his two brothers exhibit similar behaviors and judging by the highs ans the lows probably have bipolar.
You saw this coming. It shouldn't be a surprise. Why would he suddenly change if he is dating you? You can accept it or dump him. Those are your choices. I think you already know this and want input to see if you should get rid of him. Well you definitely should.
