Wasn't so much a "place" as it is meeting Asians in America. And, yes, some American women possess those qualities too.

Thanks, page. She was very shy (and we never really did go all the way sexually...one of the reasons it didn't work out), but I think I got her to open up more than any other man she'd been with in the most beautiful way...I was very patient and kind with her, and, when she wanted to be, she was very affectionate, but she was also very tired all the time. Her family (whom she was living with) had her working 6 11-hour days a week plus taking care of their kids on the 7th day, and it was just too exhausting for her, yet she was too nice to say "no". The Vietnamese culture is very family-oriented, very hard-working, and very exclusive. They didn't like me taking their good little worker-bee away from them, and they paid for her exit visa to the States, so there was some indebtedness on her part going on there. I hated being in the middle of it, and I began to see myself as yet one more person in her life who wanted more than she could give, and decided it was best if I calmly, kindly, amicably step down...out of her life. I guess I'm looking for someone now who is a little less busy working and has her own place, is also less shy but still sweet!

Some women wait until they are married to be sexual with someone they are dating. All women put their families first when they are dating a guy, I did and that is the way is should be.

are you looking for a submissive woman, cuz that is what it sounds like, the asian woman are just that until they get americanized then they smarten up.

Koolman, I keep running into you on these discussion things!! (you replied to my "what a guy wants" post, I replied to your question on there btw). Anyway, your headline caught my eye bc I'm vietnamese too! =) We are very family oriented ppl so here is what you should do. You need to find yourself an americanized asian lady. That way you get the best of both worlds. =) To everyone else, I'm only saying "asian lady" bc he misses an asian ex. Just to make sure I'm being PC, Koolman, please remember: all women of all races/ethnicities all over the world possess wonderful qualities that any man would be blessed to have in his life, so please don't discriminate when choosing a date. =P Have a good one! =)

Perhaps I wasn't going to marry her before we had sex (that is insane), and she wasn't going to have sex with anyone she wasn't married to, so we were sort of at cross-purposes there. I do respect her for being a nice Catholic girl; however, I wasn't getting my "needs" met and was frustrated, so we amicably split.

Yes, "Americanized" sounds good, just not obnoxiously so like a lot of the whoreish "lust and greed" junkies I've met since...gotta be some loyalty there, even if we wait a couple of years to decide whether we want to marry. I marry someone in my heart, if not on paper, and am monogamous. During our 10 months, I never made any moves on anyone else, because I liked her better.

Satin: She misses me too...aww, thanks. We did have a really sweet thing going on there...perhaps in a different time and given different living arrangements, she mighta wanted to live with me LOL.
