I am in love with my husband, but sometimes I resent him for the way our life is. We are low income. I knew before I married him that he was not able to work. I guess I was just young and nieve. I sometimes find myself wishing I was with someone else just so my kids and I would have a better life. I love him and would never leave, but I just can't help having these feelings sometimes. Is this normal? Is it wrong?

aww.. cant really relate but of course its normal to feel like that..may i ask why he cant work??how old are your kids??just try and talk to him about it..maybe see a therapist so you can vent.. sorry iam not much of help but hang in there.hugs to u

I think it's normal to wonder what the grass is like on the other side but I think we all know it's not better. I do the same thing so I do think it's normal.

Seems like life is all a trade-off. If you want a man who is money-driven, he'll never be around...be too busy chasing nickles and you'll be lonely.

Any way YOU can work and he can take care of the kids? Or are you already doing this?

grass is so not greener on the other side - you might think it will be but the love you get from your husband and the love you feel for you husband is way better than anything money can bring. Money is so nice to have but it does not make life better, just different problems.....

You have your standards, its good that you wont leave. Being low income does not mean your kids cant have what they need. Need to pay more attention to the good things, hopefully everyones healthy in your family? Your Blessed then. And your scraping by, but you have enough food alot of people dont even have that.
Try to work harder on thinking on the best things in life, not if your kids get to have the best clothes or whatever. When they grow up they may think back and say "life was rough" but hopefully theyll also say "my mom and dad loved each other and us so much that we were fine".

Awww honey, we all want to have more money. I go through phases like that. Just try to remain positive and save as much money as you can.
