Ha! Do you believe it? It's a rare occurrence, truly. After my divorce, I seriously thought (although I tried and denied) that I was stone cold dead in "that" way.
Then came along J, my ex bf, 4 1/2 yrs post divorce. it was good while it lasted.
Then came along my Jeep crush ..that's been back and forth and all over the place for 2 years now. I've decided enough is enough. I let him go. If he wants to be treated like dog shit by his "gf" that's his business. I just dont want to hear about it, or his comments and flirty messages or reminders of when we were together. It's been heart wrenching. I really let him get to me.
So, in letting that energy go....I have a new crush. Ha! I was even brave enough to step up and TELL him yesterday. Ha! I did it, I opened my big mouth (shocking, eh?) and just straight up said it.
The funny synchronicity? We chat here and there, not all that often, but yesterday morning, out of the clear blue he sent me a text saying "I'd like to be your secret admirer, but then it would be a secret"
Ha! Funny stuff! Maybe April Fools was not the day to proclaim crush-dom, but I did it.
I'm not getting any younger.
And, what the heck. I like truth!
I have no expectations..none.. But hey, I'm crawling outta my shell-shell :)
