Sorry you were hurt but you have to toughen up a bit
and remember that men have rejected women based on their looks for like EVER: too fat, breasts too small, face not pretty. If you took every rejection personally or as a mandate on your self worth, you will be offended for the rest of your life.
Attraction is subjective. I’m 5’8 and when I was single dated men shorter than me. Stuff I rejected men over was usually based on their personality or weird stuff that just bugged me about them.
100% of anything is rare in nature. I don't care to do the research, but I'd guess the percentage of women who require men to be tall is approximately equal to the percentage of men who require big tits on their women. May they find each other and make each other miserable with their meaningful priorities.
There is somebody for everyone. Why worry about the stereotypical masses? Just keep your eye out for the one exceptional woman who is right for you. The most exceptional couples I know ignored the stereotypes and found happiness on their own, self-defined priorities.
she is a small person inside
I'm kinda with urbangardner on this. Maybe you were approaching stalker status and she was desperate to get rid of you?
Or, she’s just simply attracted to tall men because that’s what she desires and in that case, nothing you can do about that. Move on.
I do think it was a rather callous and unkind statement and you're better off without her …… Big hug.....xo
I m sorry you got hurt..
Thanks guys.
Was she not direct to the point when she said "no" to your initial request to date?
Or did she actually say "No, I don't date short men. My ideal man is tall so I can't be with someone like you" when you first approached her for a date?
