Nope it's here to stay I'm afraid. Just not the same experience as the old site. I'm been trying to adjust to it, but just don't like it.

My pictures have disappeared. I can't find the pictures my friends had posted. Is it just me or are they all really gone?

This site is terrible and I think that a lot of stuff did disappear. I wish it would go back to the old format.

I don't think it will come back... At least not at this time... There have been 'fixes' that DS has been working on around the clock though and should hopefully be done by this week..... I hope people will hang on for a while and try and get used to a changes.. I know that we aren't all happy with some of them however the people are still the same ... The members that have become our friends over time.. Many of us a long time... Big hug sweetie.... I hear you....xo

If you have specific concerns or complaints I encourage people to join the DS Members Group... It's there to voice these things.. DS does regularly read posts there and they also post what they're working on and what's been fixed....xo

Yes, in the name of "progress", DS has really botched things up. Most of my friends aren't around anymore. It took me weeks to figure out how to use the support groups. And it's very hard to follow a thread. I liked the list of topics. So much has gone by the wayside.

They're presently working on a lot of things... They needed to give DS an overhaul due to the site being as old as it was... People had a hard time getting on the site so some things needed to be done...
It does take time and use to get around the new site ...I was on the beta site for a few months and it really does get much easier with practise ... Again if anyone has things that they want to bring to the attention of DS... The DS Members group is a great place to post.. They are reading the posts there regularly..
A number of fixes should be finished this week... Good to see you living!...xo

private and group pictures have all been removed, it seems. I don't recall getting any warning about this, so I am disturbed, to say the least. I am also not happy about having to use my e-mail address to login. it also seems like the typical page is mostly ads and decoration, compared to the old format. sooo ... it looks like Facebook will be the big winner here.
