When I was dating I joined Meetups.com in my area. I liked The Sceptics group. We didn't really meet with intent to date, but rather to socialize and debate. Our group was amazing. Lots of different people from all walks of life and it was refreshing to break out of my regular circle. We met for dinners, drinks, coffee.
One night we had 23 people gather in a small coffee shop and it was the best meeting yet. Most people were well educated and the debates were informative, funny and just excellent.
Idk what kind of women you like but if you like a woman with an open mind, you may just meet someone like that there, because only proactive, outgoing individuals would be willing to join a group of complete strangers and have fun.
Another aspect that could be in your favor is if you are ok with dating women your own age. Most of my friends are in their 50s. The women are having a hard time meeting men.. My one male friend admitted that he only dates younger women because " women of my age are less attractive and are not as active as younger women"..so there is pretty big market out there it seems to me for women in the late 40s and 50s. I could be wrong, this is just what I see in my surroundings.
What I like about meetups is that you can choose a group that is more to your frame of mind. Of course, there is unlikely to be a " home body group" lol
Advice well received, I prefer to date women close to or a little over my age group. I find them not only attractive but compatible in a kindred spirit kind of way. I have had the opportunity to meet women from different cultures and back grounds and I found it refreshing, but I'm no longer associated with that environment because of a location change in employment. Now, the home body group is not that bad " LOL " but I do need to get out more. I'll take a look a Meetups.com and start from there.
Thank you!
