To make a long story short.. my boyfriend is snapchatting this girl who I looked up via facebook and instagram. They know each other through a graduate program he was previously in, but I looked at her and she's somewhat attractive (actually kind of looks like me...) I feel hypocritical, because I have a guy friend of my own (who he doesn't know) in my snapchat best friends, but I know that I would never cross the line, and I rarely snapchat, so it's just going off of the FEW times that I do and how frequently my guy friend snapchats me. However, my boyfriend is an AVID snapchatter, and is always sending out snaps to other people. This girl has repeatedly been in his top 3, and I don't like the way it looks. On my end, it's hard to be angry because I have this guy in mine, but he's just stayed there because I never snapchat people/ people rarely snapchat me and he lives across the country. This girl lives a couple towns over from him. I feel disrespected and suspicious. My boyfriend has a HISTORY of cheating on his ex girlfriends, and I would like to think he would never do this to me... we have been friends for close to 10 years and have been together for close to 9 months. I mentioned it to him and he said "she's my friend from school...". I feel like it'd be next to impossible for him to cheat, because usually we are together on the weekends and I have a general idea of where he is during the week. But still, that doesn't mean I don't have suspicions that he is sending innapropriate pictures with this attractive girl... the guy who snaps me is very attractive and my boyfriend has hinted at jealousy and feeling threatened by this. Still, it's a double standard which makes me feel like I can't get mad. But on the other hand, if she's frequently in his top 3 friends, and he's constantly snapping people, that suggests that he is sending her a HANDFUL of snaps in order for her to beat out everyone else he sends pix to. (He sends a ton to me and I haven't even made it in there!). I feel like while he could be texting me or calling me, he's using his time to exchange pictures (which automatically delete) with this other girl. I like to think he wouldn't cheat, and I genuinely feel like he wouldn't.....but that doesn't mean I don't have a suspicion, now because of this app, that he would come to the brink of innapropriate activity with this girl via snapchat. Why aren't I in his top 3? Does this seem innapropriate and like a red flag? Also, he is not great at communicating, blows hot and cold, and sometimes I won't hear from him all day unless I call him. I feel disrespected and very suspicious. I NEVER send snapchats to other people, and only a few send them to me, so obviously this guy is in mine because of the few people who snap me... my boyfriend on the other hand, is a serial snapper. I looked last night and this girl wasn't in it.... and then again, this morning, she was. I trust him not to cheat--- but it's dwindling, because I feel like he constantly needs restored confidence that other girls want him to feel better about himself.
