I have been where you are (too many times than I should have). I'll be 42 in January and my life out of the womb started bad ie. abusive dad, dad dying when I was 2 months, the woman that gave birth to me becoming an alcoholic after that, 5 foster homes within a 2 year period, raped at 14, a$$hole baby daddy, bad 1st marriage, my firstborn turned into a selfish prick, 27 months ago my husband was murdered right across the street where we used to live, leaving me to raise our baby all alone, and a toxic alcoholic sister I let go for good when she wasn't there for me after that happened! And that's just a glimpse into my life, however through all of that I am still standing and I refuse to have anybody beat me down to the point where you are, feeling like there's no hope at all. Is it hard sometimes hell yeah but I still have a life of happiness I do have! It took me a VERY long time to get to this point; It actually happened 2 years ago when I joined this site! Talking to people who were/are having a rough time and feeling like there's no hope has opened my eyes to be happy with what I have and it's not a million things, (only 3 truthfully). Like now talking to you has me in a better mood even though my home cookie business is looking blah and I may have to move on to plan B. I was sad looking at everything because of no orders, but hey at least I'm well stocked to bake for baby and I :)
I really hope you take charge of your life and make 2018 and the rest of years you have left better than 2017 and whenever you knew your marriage wasn't what it should be!
Happy Thanksgiving <3
@gregsbaby. Thank you so much. I did so need a pep talk as I have been really struggling lately. And i do have intentions of changing and bettering my situation for 2018.
You are right, for me also coming on here has helped me a lot (hard to believe as I am currently such a mess)
Don't know if i will ever get back on the horse, but i will at least go find my new very own stall to hang out in. lol
Now for VQ, have you given any serious thought to New Year's resolutions? I'm not pushing you to make big steps but you deserve something to help you feel more empowered.
