My best friend loves routine. His exwife was looking for a reason to leave because she was bored. Today, my friend is remarried and very happy. His ex is in a different relationship every month. They both seem to be happy.
So, my question back to you is this. How would you shake things up and still stay with the same person?
Exercise together, work on different muscle groups each time, concentrate on cardio one day and bodybuiding the next. Go different places. See each other in different outfits. Travel.
by the way, I like both routine and change. Routine gives me the grounding I enjoy, but the excitement and growth that come from change, make the new routine more interesting.
In order to do this, you have to be aware of your feelings so you can share them. Sabotaging a good relationship simply because you are bored is selfish and seeking diversion outside of the relationship in order to get excitement back is even more selfish and very damaging to both you and your partner.
