In saying that I do not know what types of things you and your daughter have discussed as far as why she does not like him or if she is still having trouble with the divorce and has not fully accepted that idea in her mind. If possible I think you and your daughter have to really sit down and communicate each other's feelings with each and that includes how you are feeling guilty about even having any contact or phone conversations with your bf.
Let her know how her behavior makes you feel but at the same time listen to why she is feeling the way she is. Perhaps if you do this you both can start to set up some boundaries on what is acceptable and what is not. You are the parent and do have the right to date and be treated with respect. Your daughter needs to have legit reasons about her complaints and maybe even a bit of family counseling might help with this.
My point is that both of you are feeling miserable and you both need to find ways to solve these issues without getting angry or feeling guilty. If you can't fix things between yourselves again I would advise you both talk to a counselor. I hope this helps you a bit and things start to get better. Wishing you the very best.
Sorry, but this would make me angry.
I'd just put it out there. Love him even harder. Be openly affectionate with this man, if you feel like it, even in front of your daughter. Let the love win your daughter over. If it doesn't, it's her problem, not yours. And you're the parent, are putting a roof over her head. Your house, your rules.
Tell her you won't be judgmental about HER boyfriend, whoever that may be, and expect the same courtesy in return. Tell her that you love her, and want a harmonious household. If your daughter wants to talk with her own biological daddy, if he wants to talk with her, the phone is in the next room.
