I need to stop listening to others so much. Ha!
I'm not sure how long you've been dating him but.....
I think it's perfectly normal not to go on business trips with your SO. I do know of couples that do.....but I know many many many more that don't. Me and my SO being one. Depending on the itenerary and personal objectives, frankly for me, having someone else there would be a distraction.
Again, unless you've been dating seriously for quite a few months (but I'm guessing not since you both have dating profiles still up), I think it's perfectly normal not to nail down plans for a holiday that is over two months away.
Also if he and his mother were in a car crash together and she died, no matter how long ago- that is huge- anniversaries like that, especially one that you lose your mother in, can trigger all types of emotions. It would be and should be something very very deeply personal. I have a traumatic anniversary every year and I feel the stress for a few months leading up to it and it goes away after the actual anniversary date.
Take a deep breathe and enjoy the journey. Without focus on the destination. It's with this time that you learn if he's 'the one'.
I agree I think she was over analyzing that got me to over analyzing.
I will try to just be a support to him as he gets thru this week.
Thanks!
