I am sitting here waiting for my husband to come back- I am going to see my parents and its an important day as they are reuniting with a family member and my mum asked me to come. So I said I would and as usual my husband goes for a run which I assumed he would be back home by now. However its 1pm and he still isn't back, he gave me the impression that he would be here for me, support me to come to my parents home but he hasn't turned up. I genunely feel disappointed, gutted and embrassed. As its going to be at 2pm and he still isn't here, has to have a shower and then get ready. He doesn't seem to have any consideration for me or bearing in mind to come home on time and be reay. Its just pure selfishness and I feel sad for my life, I have never done this to him and been there for his family. But today I feel I am sitting here waiting like a idoit because if I go on my own its embrassing that my husband isnt there culturally as I am coming on my own. But there is nothing I can do.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

I believe my hubby and I are richer in every way for being ready, willing and able to function independently, even in the traditional couple events and most especially on the days we are not harmonizing well together. Done well or done badly, we create our harmonies together. Our badly done harmonies are best left unsung. For an example like the one you give here, I would have been on my way when the *run* took longer than usual.
But that is me. . . Even my shrinks tell me that I am too independent for my own good, but they treat it like something to train rather than cure.
Gentle support while you find what works for you, Rampage. Hope the family reunion goes well. Healing hopes for all. No exceptions.
