never pretend to be someone you aren't for a relationship...it just causes problems...trust me, i know...
be yourself, and love will find you....
After my divorce, I moved out of State to start a new job; left an 18 year marriage, my kids, my family, my friends. Got an apartment and lived alone. I went to work on weekdays, spent the weekends cooking, cleaning, focusing on my art.
I didn't have to explain or justify to anyone. It was incredible!
After about a year, though, I noticed that I was probably too comfortable being alone; might be time to stick my head out the door a little and interact.
I took out an add in a singles publication, because I would be able to decide just who I wanted to respond to, instead of just "dating". Met and later married the love of my life. We're together because we belong together. We found each other because each of us had already been through plenty of the "other" relationships. We're together because neither of us wants to try to be anything other than what we are. I firmly believe that you can't expect to find a healthy relationship with someone else unless you have a healthy realtionship with yourself. Pete
What I want !!
Then it becomes "we".
...
I was only speaking of this type of thing on another post recently.
You have to trust and take that trusting action before the universe / god / higher power usually supports that trust and assists you in your new way.
As in we create our own reality?
You are only BEING you if you know how to be alone. And only when you are being you can you attract that which you really want.
When I'm alone, all I can do to satisfy those cravings is indulge in some (ahem) diversionary entertainment...
