My boyfriend and I are coming up on our 4 year anniversary next weekend. I am looking for ideas on what we can do together that wouldn't be too costly - he lost his job and I only work part time, but I want to make our anniversary special. I have 3 days off so we have time to do things, just not a lot of money. Any ideas of activities we can do or even gifts would be appreciated. We live in a fairly large city and are complete nerds, if that helps give you any ideas :) thanks in advance!

as a romantic at heart i love the ideas that involve hand made gifts and sneaky surprises. silly poetry in a handmade card. origami bouquets and cookies from scratch. going to a park and taking pictures while being as childlike as possible.
