I have been dealing with a guy for a long time. We have been off and on. Right now we are not together but there are strong feelings there. We love each other deeply.He has a problem with showing emotion. If I say I miss you or I love you he shuts down. BUT when he feels like saying it , it is okay. It weird for example the other night he told me I've been thinking about you all day and I said it back and he was like I didn't mean for you to say it back to me. Im like do you not like to receive love what is the issue. I think about him all day every day its getting to me because he thinks im too emotional. I told him I really missed him his reply back was we just saw each other the other day you cant miss someone that quick. That really hurt my feelings I feel rejection, I feel like im not getting the attention I want from him. Im ready to close this chapter of my life and move on but its hard. Because the minute I cut him off he always comes back with I love you, i miss you , youre my backbone! Then when I come back nothing ever changes.
Now he has told me that he doesn't know how to love and I can respect that because i know a lot of men like that.He says he has never had anyone like me before so it can be a little too much for him. He doesn't know how to handle it. He has even told me before that I deserve better and then he back tracks and he is like but I cant see you with anyone else. He even sent me a song the other day called "Still my love" and it was basically saying that no matter who you are with you will always be mine. This boy drives me nuts! If i'm giving 100% I want the same in return.
