I would imagine it would be more comforting to me to connect to someone who understands what it is like, if I ever experienced a loss like that.
I'm so sorry for your pain. Hope you will find someone special.
You've been in counseling for a while already, I think. But, you may need to stay with a specific counselor on and off. Heck that isn't bad. You'll have a person to bounce things off of if you get overwhelmed.
Oooo and keep writing. you seem to be a sweet man. I'm sorry that you've been through so much.
As for that I can't take any credit for it at all.
Because when I was praying for death myself after seeing my son the way I did,two messages came to me.
The first told me to take a long hard look at myself, that I wouldn't like all that I saw, well that was so very true,I didn't so that morning I made a vow to The Lord, that from that day forward I would strive towards positive change.
I don't always succeed but I do try.
The second message that came to me was one word, that word was W-R-I-T-E,so that is what I do,I write as a means to cope.
That is the very best therapy I have found as yet
So you see honey I can't take credit for it.
God knows I want to be able to trust,I have been alone for over fifteen years, and I just don't know how much more of that I can take.
I think I'll take your advice,join a group.
