This is my healthy leisure breakfast, Cereal without any additives or sugar added, live natural yoghurt with fresh fruit ie grapes, apple, pear, banana etc. - you could drizzle this with honey too if you wish more sweetness.
The quick healthy breakfast would be a fruit or fruit/yoghurt smoothie and just drink it down.
Lunch may be - cottage cheese on rye - cracker or bread with tomatoe or cucumber - followed by apples or other fruit.
A healthy meal might be salmon, brown rice and 2 fresh veg - chilli sauce on the side if you want to spic it up.
Also
Pasta, chicken breast with tomatoes and basil or thyme - salad on the side.
Switch from white bread to brown, wholemeal or rye
Switch to brown rice and pasta instead of white.
Eat fresh fruit and vegetables every day - aim for 5 portions -
Drink plenty of water or herbal / fruit tea.
Where you can replace suger with honey
If wanting to satify a sweet tooth - again use honey on rice cracker or toast.
A good health, sweet tooth satisfying sandwich might by granery bread, mashed banan and honey (use butter or marg sparingly)
Try cooking ahead and enough for more than a few meals. Chop up fresh or cooked veggies to have on hand that you can add to things. Ready made salads work for lunch. Cook or grill some chicken breast if your not avoiding meat. Keep it on hand to put on top. Some days it is tuna or salmon. I add beans, and salsa for dressing. Other add on could be lightly steamed and chilled asparagus, brussel sprouts halfed, or carrots, fresh red onion. Fruits and nuts also work on salads.
