This is a safe haven for victims of childhood abuse and their loved ones to share stories, sympathies, and tips for healing. Whether verbal, physical, or sexual in nature, the effects of childhood abuse can be permanently scarring. Together, though, we can find strength and solace in each other.

I grew up near Chitnango, NY, home of Frank Baum (who wrote the wizard of oz). Long story short, my younger siblings wanted to be in the annual "oz parade" one year so my mom made costumes of the lion, tin man scarecrow and dorothy for them... and then talked my 16-year-old self into escorting them as the wicked witch of the west. She even painted my face green. I was mortified. LMAO!!!
