Hi Guys,
Just discovered bad news that I did NOT want to see. I knew my ex was completely self-absorbed and
that it would rub off onto my kids (4). Now I see the proper name is Narcissism, and the kids are that way too!
But the kick in the gut is, there is no treatment ( I don't think). I had hoped that just laying out NEW INFORMATION
would let them see the error of it. So it has dashed my hopes of ever even speaking to them again, let alone have
a relationship with them. So it is really bad news. Jesus! As if I don't get enough misery . . . .FUCK IT!

I am so sorry to hear this. Its an awful thing for you to deal with. I am in the same situation. I was married to a professionally diagnosed sociopath who has turned our daughter into a little replica of himself and she believes that I was the cause of all the problems. It breaks my heart daily and I have never seen my little grand daughter. I put up with so much for her sake but I have to admit I wasn't always doing the best thing for us because of the head space narcissist's put you in. But my love and intentions were always the best. I'm sure yours were too. Sometimes we just have to accept things as they are. I hope you are able to have some sort of resolution. All the best.

Hey Jim, and 'wee little Jim', I'm sorry for your loss. I have an entire family not speaking to me. I have to read into the silence, and my guess is that they are uncomfortable because I had a mental breakdown, because I was sexually abused within the family, and other reasons. It is very painful, to mourn this kind of loss, but I now feel a lot freer. I can't relate to these people much anyway. I focus on my friends, AA meetings, and the people I meet on DS such as you. I hope you can move through the grief OK, and find solace here.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
