Healing Infidelity Through Faith Community Group
A place for those experiencing infidelity, rebuilding from infidelity, or dealing with the aftermath of infidelity, both unfaithful and hurt partners, and to be free to express how our faith, primarily Christians but others are also welcome, has or is being used to deal with our issues and hurts. All posters are expected to be respectful of each others faith experiences...

I believe there is even a group on DS for betrayed spouses whose CS ended up with a child from the affair partner. Pink would know where to find it. I'd contact her.
It is hard, but it can be worked through. But it does throw some extra hurdles in the way of rebuilding to deal with, like continued contact with the affair partner (can be minimized but usually never totally eradicated) as well as the child being a trigger, even though it was through no fault of the child. The child is an innocent victim in this situation. But the child is a continual reminder of the affair.
It is a special type of trigger, but perhaps my article on dealing with triggers may be of some help.

Of course, your CS also has a part to play in these things having the least impact on you as possible. He'll need to be sensitive to your feelings on this and work to make the best of it for you as possible.
Hoping for hope for you.
