I've done:
CHinese herbs (disaster)
accupuncture (felt good overall; don't know what it did for the hep)
homeopathy (at times got my enzymes to normal, great for overall health, made it so I never needed antibiotics or other conventional meds)
Healers Who Share (rip -0ff artists)
visualization (Gerald Epstein's book. No effect, but I'm not very good at it.)
Nutrition, milk thistle, etc. (helps with overall and liver health)
hypnosis (no effect on hep, though the practitioner had inappropriate boundaries; that may have influenced treatment)
Oil of oregano (no effect on hep c taken orally, but amazing as a topical skin treatment. Pimples dried up before my eyes)
I know someone who claimed he cured Hep C with green Tea. I don't want caffeine, but I was told that the healing ingredients bind to the caffeine, so the decaffinated type doesn't work.
I'm also interested in trying soul retrieval, has anyone?
What about emotional freedom technique?
When finances change, I may try those.
Let me know if anything's worked for you, or what to avoid.
Mak,
It sounds like the Spirulina you take is in capsules. Or is it powder? My aunt had heart surgery and they put in a pig valve; my daughter asked, if I were in that position, would I do it? I've been thinking, how commited am I to being a vegetarian if something could save my life? Right now I feel like still sticking to it (not to mention the ick factor of capsules made from hooves) but I am more open to that option than I have been.
Oh, no, I'd have to take about 60 capsules! LOL I try to get vegetarian capsules when I take stuff in caps.
I take 20 grams of spirulina and 10 grams of chlorella. Lately they've been going into 24 oz of fresh veggie juice with apples, carrots, celery and beets.
I was a total vegan for several years, from 2000-2005. My blood tests came back saying I needed more protein and my chiropractor recommended eating meat again, so we added fish and chicken and eggs to the diet. Then it dawned on me, he has an organic grass fed beef ranch. Of course he is going to push animal protein. I was Dx in late 2006, 18 months later. Discovered spirulina and chlorella combo in the spring of 2008.
by the way, I grind my chia seeds up in a coffee grinder and add them to homemade nutritional bars, made with carob, almond butter, flax seed meal, chia, cocoa, orange juice and more.
So you grind them like flax seeds? What do they taste like? I'm wondering about putting them in oatmeal. Or in my almond butter, flax seed, banana, coconut and berry in a spelt wrap sandwhich.
that would work. They really don't have a big flavor and they disappear in the bars, adding protein and other nutrients. I am going to make them bars here shortly, we ran out and hubby has been missing them! I make 16 pounds at a time, cut them into 85 gram or 3 oz bars. They last a good time in the refrigerator.
