You know how you can have the at home blood glucose monitoring system. wouldn't it be nice if we could have one to test our thyroid levels whenever we wanted!

yeah, that's funny.....I used to say the same thing! We would probably drive ourselves crazy though! At least when we changed doses we could see after a few weeks if we were headed in the right direction, most docs won't test you after this short a time. My endo used to say it takes 2 months for things to settle. Why he made me wait 3 was a good question!

Yeah really! My endo would insist I get my levels checked 6-8 weeks. She just didnt understand that my levels would drastically change in a matter of 2 weeks. Having that machine would be a great thing for us

This has crossed my mind a few times. I hate going in for the blood test. We all talk about the results of the test but we hardly mention the actual blood draw and how much we hate it.
It would be nice to have a little prick machine That are advertised.

I'm in line with all of you. My daughter tests daily for glucose, why can't we test for our antibodies? I just lowered the methimazole dosage yesterday and in a week or so it would be great to know the results and not have to wait until mid Jan. or Mar. for my next endo visit.
(Sort of like they never mention GD on TV ads lol, they are afraid of us?)
