Hi there, this is sort of a continuation of the same problem I mentioned previously,only now I have new labs which have left me even more confused. I started loosing hair like crazy back in January or Febuary, shortly after my Dr. called to tell me I was going hypo, and decreased my dose of MMI, I have since been decreased down to 5mg, and my labs are within normal ranges. TSH = 0.58 range is 0-5-6.0
FT4 = 1.06 range is 0.8-1.8
FT3 = 3.5 range is 2.0 to 4.4
These labs were as of 3/12/2012. I was loosing hair like crazy then, and am still loosing a ton now. I thought once my labs were normal this would stop. The Dr. has no answers, what's going on? Has anyone else been through this, and when will it stop? My baby is now 10m old so I know it can't be a post-partum thing, please help. Thanks

Are you low in Iron, vitamin D3, and any other minerals which could explain for the hair loss?
Hair loss for me is when my Iron and B12 is too low as well as having a bit lower Free Ts.
For many people, it takes an average of three months with thyroid levels normalizing for them to see the hair loss stopping...

I have started using Nioxin shampoo and conditioner and it has done wonders. It's on the pricey side, but worth it.
How are you feeling? Any hypo symptoms like feeling blue, lack of energy, dry skin, etc?
