Yes, I am aware of this news. I am unable to tolerate Flaxseed oil as it does something strange to my Estrogen levels. I get more puffy and swollen from taking this. Instead I have taken Salmon oil and now am trying raw vitamin butter with small doses of Cod Liver oil (the CLO bothers me). So am going to go back and try the Salmon oil with the raw vitamin butter.
That's just me though and the problems I have with certain foods/drinks and supplements of not being able to tolerate many of them.
Frustrating, I know!

Here is a list of supplements I took to help achieve remission.
2400mg Omega 3.6.9
1400mg Evening Primrose
200mcg Selenium w/ Vit E
Cal/Mag Citrate w/VitD
Vit B 12 Complex 50
The thing to remember is this...our thyroids are the victim of an out of wack immune system. Once our immune system heals so does our thyroid and eyes. Having your thyroid removed does not cure graves disease...its with you for life. Studies have shown that once you become pregnant many automatically go into temporary remission...if not...can maintain pregnancy on low doses of ATD's. I hope this helps...and welcome to our group...Big Hugs...Kathy
