Well, I am 50 now and still cycling. I am not sure what to tell you about periomenopausal symptoms or even menopause symptoms at this point. :-)
However I remembered when my thyroid was really out-of-whack badly back a few years ago that I didn't cycle for what it seemed like two to three years at the time. I thought I was going to be like my mother who had gone into menopause at the age of 42. She did have issues of having several autoimmune diseases. Guess I was wrong about myself.

Like I said, he wasn't in any hurry to rush me through this which was
refreshing and we talked about how I'm feeling and where we go from here. I had horrible periods for years before finally stopping about a year 1/2 ago along with hot flashes, etc but was diagnosed with the Graves at the same time so who knows. I seem to be exact opposite of what most Graves people have - overweight, -at least i was before consciously losing it and hard, horrible menstral cycles. I actually felt decent about 1 week out of the month.
