I'm going in for my postpartum appointment next week and my thyroid will be tested. It will be 7 weeks since I had given birth. Should I be insisting on TSI or TRAb- or get both done? What is the difference between the two?
Also, Are there any precautions i should take while getting my vision checked? I'm planning on doing so in the next few months. I have a questionable TED diagnosis- doctors disagree with each other on that one. No symptoms for about a year- but then again I was pregnant- just about 2 years from initial pressure behind the eyes. Is it safe to get eye dilated and have other drops administered?

I've been through all those eye tests and my understanding is they are quite safe. If you suspect a flare up of TED its very important you have these measurements done so that down the road they have a point of reference...Big Hugs...Kathy
