Cd, I do have one nice big line in my neck that came after all the swelling pre and post TT. I left that out of the pic cuz its bigger than the scar!!! LOL I am feeling wonderfully!! My surgeon must have picked my magic dose right of the bat!!! Thank goodness for him!!
From what I understand, replacement meds dose is based upon body weight.
Since you've had a TT, your thyroid is g-o-n-e......there is no waiting for it to die off like what happens after RAI. That's when peeps are struggling with ever-changing levels.
You are instantly hyPO so, as I keep saying, a doc that knows how to medicate is our best friend :)
