I, too, am hypo from Graves' and can tell you that it is a long process to find the optimal dose/levels....easily 6 months upwards to a year.
However, it is fully worth it.
It's not uncommon to develop new symptoms or have old ones worsen after starting meds and dose adjustments.
As you near your optimal levels, symptoms slowly start to dissipate (emphasis on slowly :).
When you stabilize at your optimal levels (usually FreeT4/T3 in the upper half/upper third of the range), you can look forward to being free from thyroid symptoms.
