pregnant with twins very scared

Hi there, I'm 12 week pregnant with twins, have been in remission from Grave's since 2013. New labs show TT3 2.22 normal is 0.60-1.81. FT4 is 1.37 normal is 0.93-1.70. TSH is 0.21, normal is 0.27-4.20. No FT3 the endo doesn't think it adds any value. I'm terrified I'm going hyper again, and don't know how this will affect the babies. they did antibody levels, but the results aren't back yet. Please advise me, and anyone who's had any exerience being hyper during pregnancy or knows about this please let me know what you did, and how it turned out. Very scared right now, thanks. Also, is there anything I can do naturally to help bring TT3 down, and TSH up?

If you haven't already and if it were me, I'd get in touch with Elaine Moore.

The Free Ts (yes I know one is a TT3) would need to be as high as possible in the upper third ranges to do well.

You would want your TSI to be down as low as possible for the pregnancy.

Thank you, I also did some of my own research and found out that the Total values are expected to be high during pregnancy and that they really should be relying on the free values. So I'm going to get my FT3 checked myself at a health fair this week, and look for a different Endo.

Hi there! I just joined today and my daughter is 11 months old and is happy, healthy, and thriving. I was diagnosed with Graves at 33 weeks during a thyroid storm. My levels have never been "normal" since May of 2014. I saw my regular OB, an endocrinologist, and an OB that specialized in maternal -fetal medicine. I was followed very closely with blood work and sonos until I was induced at 39 weeks. I also started Methamizole at that time, which was really scary for me but I knew it was a must. My daughter was born with what we were told was my antibodies from my Graves disease and it took about 4 months for her levels to normalize but she has developed just fine. Never even had symptoms from her hyperthyroid. Just stay on top of your doctors about it and follow your instincts. I'm still not sure how all of this works but if there is a way to directly message me or anything like that I will gladly give you any info I can!
